I could be wrong but I dont think the 1st beta weekend being exclusive to North America was Microsofts call as the Devs at Wargaming.net have said that will have subsequent rounds of the beta will let everyone know when they expand.

I am sure Microsoft could have got the beta into multiple countries if they wanted.

Well its the devs that r runnin the show... they said that for the first round they wanted to start off with a pretty small control group...

One thing that kinda bothers me is that on the xbox beta forums the thread that has the most replies is one titled " Post your names if your from the PC version of WOT "

So it seems to me that the PC fans that frequent the forums knew about the beta way before the general XBLA population and snagged up all of the invites LOL.

It really doesn't surprise me. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft put funding into getting WOT on Xbox. Also the Beta application should have been put on xbox dashboard and personally I believe people who have been with xbox live the longest should have better chances of getting into the beta.

Already deleted from my HD... when an opponent is standing still halfway across the arena standing still and I'm getting knocked down and taking damage from them... well I guess I'm jes not hardcore enough to deal with that.

They actually did post a link to WoT beta in the XBLA games marketplace in NA last week, but as I said I dont think anyone who signed up via that method stood a chance of getting in the first round as they apparently started signing people up way earlier than that, and as I said theyre keeping the first beta group pretty small ( as is evident by the sever lack of beta forum posts ) I've got a buddy who was savvy enough to sign up right after the announcement at E3 and he didnt even get in.

They've said they'll send out more invites on a weekly basis.

And while I love gettin beta invites to games I'm interested in ( checkin my email for the inv is like waitin for a present to be delivered ) I wont be too put out If I haveta wait for the full release... it'll be free anyhow so thats a +

Speakin of lovin gettin beta invites...


Mabey I should go look an see if theres gonna be a beta for Payday the Hiest 2... hmmmm...

I am happy with my testing of the FF14 beta that is currently going on.
