BMG Healing?

I am new to PVP, so perhaps I was doing it wrong. Is bmg healing in pvp different than it normally is? It seem to me like it rarely ever works. I aim at someone, or try to heal myself, and it does nothing. It just glows blue and doesn't "shoot" at anyone.

I've done dungeons and arkfalls with it before, with no problems. So I know how to lock on and heal someone. What am I doing wrong?

Pull the right trigger to attack, and the left trigger to heal. I just found out myself after not knowing for a long time.

when this happens you have to switch your weapon and switch back to your bmg and then it will work. putting your bmg in your 2nd slot will make this happen a lot less often

hey maybe i can help u out i been useing bmgs for heals in pvp sense i started it. Witch one are u useing and what mods do u have i ask this because bmg barrels come in 3 diffrent kind one gives u high damage but derps ur healing the other derps ur damage and boosts ur healing and the last is just stright damage boost but wit no loss of healing but will be 8 hit points lower the the mix damage one as far as rolls and synergeys go there better as a boosting weapon like if u get one wit outlaw not good for it but fills the spot u need to boost main gun hope i was helpful
