Maxed EGO??

So today I hit 5000. I was 4995 Ego before my last XP level up. I had 5 Xp levels remaining (50 EGO), the Echelon Reputation II pursuit (15 EGO), and 4 Skill levels (16 EGO) left. So in theory, if I max these out, my effective EGO should be 5076. This is including all "weekly" episode missions since release. So my question is when the EGO cap gets raised, will these lost EGO ratings be restored????

Also, does anyone know if they are raising the EGO with the 1st DLC?

Simply enjoying the game is vastly overrated apparently. Personally I feel like I won't truly start enjoying the game until I hit 5k and don't have to worry about that aspect anymore. And I've already been enjoying it immensely since day 1. 310 more EGO to go. Damn weapon skills...

I have enjoyed the game for 26 days in game. I can understand that there is a level cap but if there is a level cap why would you, as a programmer/developer, add additional stuff that "increases ones level" without actually increasing it due to the cap....

Just doesn't make sense to me.

I have a lot of friends that no longer play this and I only have a couple that are still playing. so some of the fun of doing stuff with friends has decreased.

Having more ways to level than the actual cap means if there is something you just hate doing or find impossible to pull off, you have other options to hit the max.

i agree the 5000 level cap is annoying but its nice to have reached it! now i can focus on making the ££££ lol
